Stainless steel electroplating process
Stainless steel plating is a process of depositing a metal coating on the surface of stainless steel. This surface treatment process can not only increase the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, but also improve the aesthetics of the metal.
（1）Surface treatment: Stainless steel metal parts will first be inspected and then the oil will be removed. Wash with water according to strict standards to acidify the oxide film on the surface of stainless steel metal parts. The metal coating can be deposited evenly on the surface.
（2） Pretreatment: Coat the stainless steel surface with a layer of copper or nickel. This pretreatment can increase the coating.The adhesion between the layer and the stainless steel surface can also be increased, and the gloss of the stainless steel surface can also be increased.
（3） Electroplating: Electroplating is performed on the pre-treated surface. Electroplating can deposit the coating evenly on the surface, ensuring the thickness and quality of the stainless steel coating.
（4）Post-processing: After electroplating is completed, the stainless steel surface needs to be post-processed again. In order to remove impurities from the electroplated coating, the metal surface is polished and sanded to increase the gloss of the surface.
Application
Stainless steel is a highly corrosion-resistant alloy material widely used in different fields. However, the monotonous color of stainless steel has long limited its application potential. The emergence of stainless steel plating technology provides an effective way to solve this problem. Through stainless steel plating technology, various colors such as metallic orange, champagne, rose gold, and black can now be achieved, thus further expanding the decorativeness and practicality of stainless steel materials.
