AISI 301 stainless steel coil is a metastable austenitic stainless steel with a complete austenitic structure, which can significantly increase the strength and hardness in the cold working state while maintaining sufficient plasticity and toughness. It has good rust resistance and performs well under atmospheric conditions. However, it has poor corrosion resistance in reducing media and is not recommended for use in chemical media such as acid, alkali and salts. AISI 301 stainless steel coils are mainly used for equipment components that bear high loads and require lightweighting and rust prevention. They have good impact resistance and can provide reliable safety guarantees. AISI 301 stainless steel coils are prone to work hardening when deformed and are suitable for places requiring high strength.
Stainless steel is a high-alloy steel that can resist corrosion in air or chemical corrosive media. Due to its beautiful surface and good corrosion resistance, it can exert its inherent characteristics without surface treatment such as plating, and is widely used in various steel products. Common high-alloy steels are 13 chromium steel and 18-8 chromium-nickel steel.
Stainless steel contains chromium, which forms a thin chromium film on its surface, which can effectively isolate the internal steel from the external oxygen and play a role in corrosion resistance. In order to maintain the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, its chromium content must reach more than 12%.
301 stainless steel is the most widely used heat-resistant steel, suitable for food production equipment, chemical equipment, nuclear energy and other fields. Compared with 304, 301 material (17Cr-7Ni-carbon) has lower chromium and nickel content, but higher tensile strength and hardness during cold working. It usually shows no magnetism, but may produce magnetism after cold working. Its uses include trains, aircraft, conveyor belts, vehicles, bolts, springs and screens.
