COLD-ROLLED STRIP
①Using "stainless steel strip/coil" as raw material, it is rolled into a product at room temperature by a cold rolling mill. Conventional thickness <0.1mm~3mm>, width <100mm~2000mm>;

Hot-rolled strip
①The hot rolling machine is used to make strip steel with a thickness of 1.80mm-6.00mm and a width of 50mm-1200mm.

Difference between hot and cold
①Cold-rolled steel strip has good strength and yield strength ratio, while hot-rolled steel strip has good ductility and toughness.
②The surface quality, appearance and dimensional accuracy of cold-rolled steel strip are better than those of hot-rolled plates.
③The thickness of cold-rolled steel strip is ultra-thin, while the thickness of hot-rolled is larger.

APPLICATION
316L stainless steel contains at least 16% chromium and high nickel content. Chromium reacts with oxygen to form a dense layer of chromium oxide (oxide film). This oxide film can prevent further oxidation or corrosion in acidic or chloride environments, thereby protecting the metal surface from damage. Therefore, 316L stainless steel has become a high-quality material widely used in various corrosive environments.
THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT
The high chromium content and other alloying elements of 316L stainless steel can resist corrosive substances such as salt and chloride ions in seawater. Other metal materials undergo a series of chemical reactions with these substances, causing the metal materials to be corroded.
