Application:
316TI stainless steel contains trace amounts of titanium, which can improve the resistance of stainless steel to intergranular corrosion.
Therefore 316TI stainless steel is widely used in marine applications and hydrogen fuel cells.
In order to ensure that the mechanical properties such as yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and hardness of the 316ti stainless steel plate meet the processing and manufacturing requirements, the stainless steel plate must undergo heat treatment processes such as annealing, solution treatment, and aging treatment. The corrosion resistance of 316Ti stainless steel mainly depends on its alloy composition, namely chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon, aluminum and other elements, as well as the internal organizational structure. Of course, the alloy element chromium plays a major role here. Because chromium has very strong chemical stability, it can form a dense passivation film on the surface of stainless steel, which can isolate the stainless steel matrix from the outside world to protect the stainless steel plate from oxidation, thereby increasing the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel strip.
