304L stainless steel strip is a widely used low-carbon stainless steel material with strong anti-rust performance and excellent high temperature resistance. It can withstand high temperatures of 1000-1200℃. Compared with 200 series stainless steel, it has better corrosion resistance, especially when facing oxidizing acids. 304L stainless steel can also maintain good corrosion resistance in nitric acid environments with a concentration of no more than 65% and a temperature below the boiling point. At the same time, it also has good alkali resistance and corrosion resistance to most organic and inorganic acids. 304L stainless steel strip has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties. It is suitable for hot processing such as stamping and bending, and will not undergo heat treatment hardening and remain non-magnetic. Its application range includes household items (such as tableware, cabinets, indoor pipes, water heaters, boilers, bathtubs, etc.), automotive accessories (such as wipers, mufflers, molded products), medical equipment, building materials, chemical industry, food industry, agriculture and ship parts, etc.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 316 AND 304
SUS316 and SUS304 stainless steel are the two most commonly used stainless steel materials. The main difference between them is that 316 contains molybdenum (Mo). This composition makes 316 better than 304 in corrosion resistance, especially in high temperature environments, 316 is more corrosion resistant, so engineers usually choose 316 as a component material under high temperature conditions. However, although 316 has excellent high temperature resistance, even 316 stainless steel is not suitable for use in concentrated sulfuric acid environments because molybdenum and sulfur ions in sulfuric acid may react and cause corrosion.
Molybdenum (Mo) is a high temperature resistant material and is often used in high temperature applications. For example, molybdenum crucibles are used to melt gold, which also proves the high temperature tolerance of molybdenum. However, it should be noted that molybdenum is also easy to react with high-valent sulfur ions to form sulfides, so no stainless steel can be absolutely corrosion-resistant in all environments. Stainless steel is essentially an alloy material. Although it contains different elements to improve corrosion resistance, it may still react with certain substances.
