316L stainless steel plate is a low carbon austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance, especially suitable for use in harsh environments. It contains higher nickel and molybdenum components, making it more resistant to chloride corrosion than 304 stainless steel, especially in the marine and chemical industries.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS OF 316l STAINLESS STEEL PLATE
Excellent corrosion resistance: 316L stainless steel pipe has stronger corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel, especially in marine environment and chemical industry. It can effectively resist the erosion of seawater, chlorides and corrosive gases.
High temperature resistance: 316L stainless steel pipe has excellent oxidation resistance in intermittent use below 1600°F (about 871°C) and continuous use below 1700°F (about 927°C), and is suitable for use in high temperature environment.
Anti-carbide precipitation: Compared with 316 stainless steel, 316L has better resistance to carbide precipitation, so it is suitable for applications without annealing after welding, ensuring stability in use in a higher temperature range.
Chloride erosion resistance: 316L stainless steel pipe has excellent chloride erosion resistance and is widely used in marine, chemical treatment, sewage treatment and other fields, especially in environments with high chloride concentrations.
Good processability: 316L stainless steel pipe can be conventionally processed, welded and surface treated, suitable for a variety of customized requirements.
