309 stainless steel plate is designed for extremely high temperature and corrosive environments and is the core material for key equipment in the chemical, energy and heavy industrial fields. Its high alloy formula (chromium 19%-23%, nickel 12%-15%) gives it excellent antioxidant ability. It can still form a dense chromium oxide protective layer under continuous 800℃ working conditions, effectively resisting sulfidation, carburization and high-temperature oxidation corrosion, and its performance far exceeds that of conventional stainless steels such as 304 and 316. After adding molybdenum and titanium elements, the ability to resist chloride stress corrosion is increased by 40%, which is especially suitable for complex corrosion scenarios such as marine climate and acid waste gas treatment.
Through the precise temperature control of 1050-1150℃ solid solution heat treatment and multi-pass cold rolling process, a uniform single-phase austenite structure is formed inside the plate, which has both high strength (tensile strength ≥515MPa) and excellent ductility (elongation ≥40%), supports laser cutting, welding and heavy bending processing, and the surface accuracy can reach Ra≤0.4μm. The products are widely used in petrochemical cracking furnace linings, high-temperature heat treatment furnace structures, nitric acid concentration tower components and other equipment. They maintain stable performance under strong acid and high-temperature alternating stress, and their service life is 3-5 times longer than that of traditional materials. They have passed international certifications such as ASTM A240 and EN 10088, providing long-lasting and reliable corrosion-resistant solutions for nuclear power equipment, environmentally friendly incineration systems and special chemical containers.
309 stainless steel plate, with its high chromium-nickel alloy composition (Cr 19%-23%, Ni 12%-15%), shows excellent performance in continuous high temperature and complex corrosion scenarios, becoming the preferred material for high-temperature industrial equipment manufacturing. In an environment below 800°C, a dense chromium oxide protective layer can be quickly formed on the surface of the plate, effectively blocking the penetration and erosion of oxygen, sulfides and carbon elements. The anti-oxidation ability is more than 2 times higher than that of conventional 304 stainless steel. It can still maintain structural stability and surface integrity under long-term use, significantly extending the life of the equipment.
This product is widely used in the manufacture of core high-temperature components such as high-temperature furnace linings, hot air ducts of industrial kilns, and radiation tubes of heat treatment furnaces. It is especially suitable for combustion chambers and high-temperature exhaust systems where there is a risk of thermal cycle shock and carburization. Its heat fatigue resistance and anti-carburization ability can withstand repeated heating-cooling conditions to avoid embrittlement and cracking. At the same time, in chemical heat exchangers, nitric acid concentration equipment and acid waste gas treatment equipment, 309 stainless steel plates have excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion and intergranular corrosion through the synergistic effect of molybdenum and titanium elements, ensuring the long-term and safe operation of equipment in strong acid and high salt fog environments.
