AISI 443 stainless steel is a type of ferritic stainless steel that is commonly used as a substitute for 304 stainless steel. It has lower processing performance compared to 304, but comes at a lower price point. It is widely used in the fields of electrical appliances, utensils, kitchen equipment, elevators, and oven manufacturing.
AISI 443 stainless steel has a yield strength of σ0.2=305Mpa, a tensile strength of σb=483Mpa, and an elongation of El=31%. It has a carbon content of 0.01%, chromium content of 21.0%, and titanium content of 0.3%.
AISI 443 stainless steel has a pitting corrosion resistance index of 300mv, which is equivalent to 304 stainless steel. It has high thermal stability and good tensile properties.
