310 stainless steel coil is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel, known for its excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. By adding a high content of chromium (usually more than 20%), the material can form a dense and stable chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) protective film in a high-temperature environment, effectively preventing the formation of other oxides, thereby significantly improving its oxidation resistance. In addition, 310 stainless steel coil also adds nickel to replace part of the iron component, further enhancing its mechanical properties and stability in a high-temperature environment.
