”CHOOSE PUXIN METAL AND LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU!“
2507 stainless steel bar is a ferrite-austenite duplex stainless steel. With its unique microstructure, it combines the high strength of ferrite steel with the excellent toughness of austenite steel, making it an ideal material choice for harsh industrial environments. The material is designed with a golden ratio of 25% high chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel, giving it corrosion resistance that exceeds that of conventional stainless steel - it exhibits excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and uniform corrosion in chloride ion media, acidic solutions and high temperature and high pressure environments, and is particularly suitable for key areas susceptible to corrosion such as marine engineering, chemical equipment, and oil and gas pipelines. Its duplex crystal structure not only effectively suppresses the risk of stress corrosion cracking, but also brings a yield strength that is twice that of ordinary austenitic steel, significantly improving the bearing capacity and service life of structural parts. The products include precision-ground round bars, square bars, hexagonal bars, white steel bars and other forms, which fully meet the needs of mechanical processing, fastener manufacturing and special parts forming. They have passed international authoritative certifications such as ASTM/ASME A240 UNS S32750, EN 1.4410, AFNOR Z3 CN 25.06 Az, etc., ensuring the strict standards of material performance and quality in the global engineering field.
2507 stainless steel bar sets an industry benchmark in complex corrosive environments with its breakthrough alloy ratio and dual-phase structure advantages. Its golden ratio of 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel gives the material excellent overall corrosion resistance in organic acids (such as formic acid, acetic acid) and chloride-containing inorganic acid media, especially in dilute chlorine-containing sulfuric acid environments, far exceeding 904L austenitic stainless steel, and breaking through the restricted area of 316L materials in hydrochloric acid environments, achieving stable service under dilute hydrochloric acid conditions. By precisely controlling the carbon content at an extremely low level, the risk of carbide intergranular precipitation during heat treatment is effectively avoided, fundamentally eliminating the hidden danger of intergranular corrosion. The synergistic effect of the dual-phase microstructure not only makes its stress corrosion cracking resistance significantly better than 2205 dual-phase steel, but also shows strong resistance in the chloride ion-enriched crack environment common in the construction field - experimental data show that the annual corrosion rate of this material in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid environments with a chloride ion concentration of 2000ppm is stable at less than 0.1 mm, providing long-term protection for harsh scenarios such as chemical equipment, offshore platforms, and oil and gas transportation. This combination of high strength, high toughness and all-dimensional corrosion resistance makes it the ultimate material solution for combating extreme corrosion challenges.

APPLICATION
2507 stainless steel bars have become the core material for harsh working conditions in the energy and chemical industries due to their dual advantages of high strength and corrosion resistance given by their dual-phase microstructure. In the oil and gas industry, their excellent chloride ion tolerance and stress corrosion resistance make them widely used in offshore drilling platform heat exchanger tubes, high-pressure seawater pipelines and key components of fire sprinkler systems to ensure long-term and stable operation of equipment under salt spray erosion and high-pressure impact. As the core material for desalination equipment, this alloy can not only resist erosion by high-concentration chloride media, but also support high-pressure pipeline systems with a mechanical strength twice that of conventional austenitic steel, breaking through the technical bottleneck that traditional materials cannot have both strength and corrosion resistance. In corrosive gas phase environments such as refining units and exhaust gas purification towers, 2507 can simultaneously resolve the risks of uniform corrosion and local pitting in acidic media through the synergistic effect of the ferrite-austenite dual phase, greatly extending the service life of reaction vessels and pipe valves. From load-bearing structural parts to precision fasteners, this material can not only meet the stringent requirements of bolts, studs and other fasteners to resist hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion, but also be used as a preferred solution for moving parts such as pump shafts and valve stems. It can significantly improve the system safety level while reducing the frequency of equipment maintenance, and provide modern industrial equipment with full-dimensional corrosion resistance solutions from macro structures to micro components.
