”CHOOSE PUXIN METAL AND LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU!“
ASTM 316L stainless steel bars are made of high-quality imported materials, which meet the ASTM standards of the United States and correspond to the Japanese SUS316L and Chinese 022Cr17Ni12Mo2 standards. Its ultra-low carbon content (S31608/06Cr17Ni12Mo2) effectively improves the resistance to sensitized intergranular corrosion and is suitable for manufacturing thick-section welded parts and equipment. It is widely used in the fields of petrochemical, fertilizer, papermaking, printing and dyeing, and atomic energy industries, providing excellent corrosion resistance and stability. In addition, 316L stainless steel materials can also be used to produce fasteners such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc., ensuring high strength and durability to meet the use requirements in harsh environments.
ASTM 316L stainless steel bar is a molybdenum-containing stainless steel with better overall performance than 310 and 304 stainless steel, especially suitable for high temperature environments. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance when sulfuric acid concentration is below 15% or above 85%, and has good resistance to chloride attack in marine environments. The maximum carbon content is 0.03, which can be used in applications where annealing cannot be performed after welding and high corrosion resistance is required. Compared with 304 stainless steel, it performs better in corrosive environments such as the pulp and paper industry, and is resistant to marine and industrial atmospheric corrosion. It has good oxidation resistance when used intermittently below 1600℃ or continuously below 1700℃, but it is not suitable for long-term exposure in the range of 800-1575℃. The ability to resist carbide precipitation is better than 316 stainless steel, and it is suitable for a wider temperature range. The annealing temperature is 1850-2050℃, and rapid cooling is required. It cannot be hardened by overheating. It has excellent welding performance and can be used in a variety of standard welding methods. When using 316L stainless steel, no post-weld annealing is required, and excellent corrosion resistance is maintained. Common applications include pulp and paper equipment, heat exchangers, dyeing equipment, film processing equipment, piping, and coastal building exteriors.
