PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

As a representative material of austenitic free-cutting stainless wear-resistant acid steel, 309s stainless steel bar is based on the dual certification of Chinese grade 0Cr23Ni13 and American standard S30908 (AISI/ASTM). It breaks through the limitations of traditional stainless steel with its ultra-low carbon composition design. Its carbon content is precisely controlled below 0.08%, which significantly reduces the risk of carbide precipitation in the welding heat-affected zone, effectively avoids the hidden danger of intergranular corrosion, and enables the product to show excellent structural stability in high-temperature welding scenarios. The material can still maintain high-intensity operation at extreme temperatures of 980°C. Its unique dual protection mechanism of anti-oxidation and anti-carburization enables it to maintain excellent surface integrity in repeated thermal cycle conditions, and is especially suitable for industrial environments subject to thermal shock. As the core component material of modern high-temperature equipment, 309s stainless steel rods have been successfully used in high-end fields such as the tube bundle support of the third-generation nuclear power steam generator, the internal components of the cracking furnace of the tens of millions of tons refining and chemical unit, and the bipolar plates of clean energy fuel cells. At the same time, they cover harsh working conditions such as the heat-resistant brackets of incinerators, the rollers of continuous annealing furnaces, and the linings of chemical reactors, providing a full range of corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant solutions from basic parts to key parts for high-temperature industrial systems.

PRODUCT PERFORMANCE

As a high-performance material for welding process optimization, 309s stainless steel rod reconstructs a new standard for stainless steel welding with an ultra-low carbon formula (C≤0.08%). By precisely controlling the carbon content, the intergranular precipitation of carbides in the heat-affected zone of welding is effectively suppressed, the risk of weld corrosion is fundamentally avoided, and the structural stability of high-temperature welded components is provided like that of native metal. The material still shows excellent performance under extreme working conditions of 980℃: triple protection matrix-high temperature strength ensures mechanical pressure bearing capacity, dense oxide layer resists high temperature oxidation loss, and grain boundary strengthening technology blocks the carburization erosion path, making it the ultimate solution for repeated thermal cycle scenarios. From welding and repair of nuclear power plant internal components to dynamic sealing systems of petrochemical cracking furnaces, from heat-resistant guide rails of continuous heat treatment furnaces to high-temperature reaction chambers of new energy equipment, 309s stainless steel rods redefine the boundaries of industrial heat resistance with breakthroughs in material science, and cast eternal protective armor for key components in high temperature and high pressure environments.
