AISI 309 stainless steel bar has become the preferred material for harsh industrial scenarios such as boiler manufacturing, chemical equipment, high-temperature furnaces and heat exchange systems due to its high alloy properties and excellent high-temperature resistance. As an optimized and upgraded model of austenitic stainless steel, 309 stainless steel material forms a dense and stable Cr2O3 oxidation protective layer in a high-temperature environment through precise proportioning of core elements such as carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, and nickel (chromium content ≥23%, nickel ≥13%), effectively isolating the invasion of oxidizing corrosive media, and can maintain structural stability at a long-term working temperature of 1150°C. Its heat resistance and anti-carburization ability are significantly better than conventional 304/0Cr19Ni9 stainless steel.
309 stainless steel bar adopts the international standard AISI 309/S30900 certified formula, and strengthens the grain boundary bonding through low sulfur and phosphorus impurity control and solid solution treatment process. It has the dual advantages of high-temperature strength and room-temperature toughness, and exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in acidic media such as sulfuric acid and nitric acid and alkaline environments. The bars are formed by precision cold drawing/hot rolling, with a surface finish of Ra0.8μm, which can meet the machining requirements of key components such as high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines, reactor support components, burner nozzles, etc., and are suitable for long-term service under frequent thermal cycle conditions. The service life is more than 3 times that of ordinary materials.
