AISI 430 stainless steel bar is a general-purpose steel grade with excellent corrosion resistance. Its thermal conductivity is better than that of austenitic stainless steel, and its thermal expansion coefficient is small, and its thermal fatigue resistance is strong. After adding the stabilizing element titanium, the mechanical properties of the welded parts are improved. 430 stainless steel bar is widely used in architectural decoration, fuel burner parts, home appliances, household appliances and other fields. Its chromium content makes it sometimes called 18/0 or 18-0. Although its hardness is lower than that of 18/8 and 18/10 stainless steel, its ability to resist corrosion, pitting, rust and wear is still excellent, and it is suitable for the production of food containers such as pots, bowls and basins. For applications that require good processing performance and weldability, 430LX is a more suitable choice, which is often used in products such as hot water tanks, hot water supply systems, and sanitary ware. 430F increases the free cutting performance and is particularly suitable for the production of automatic lathes, bolts, nuts and other parts.
AISI 430 stainless steel bar has good anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance and is suitable for various environments. | – The surface has discontinuous granular texture, also known as matte finish. Process: Hot rolling + annealing + shot blasting + acid pickling + cold rolling + annealing + acid pickling. |
| – Slightly glossy silver-white surface. Process: Hot rolling + annealing + shot blasting + acid pickling + cold rolling + annealing + acid pickling. |
| – Silver-white surface with better gloss and flatness than 2D. Process: Hot rolling + annealing + shot blasting + acid pickling + cold rolling + annealing + acid pickling + temper rolling. |
| – High gloss surface with a high reflective rate, resembling a mirror finish. Process: Hot rolling + annealing + shot blasting + acid pickling + cold rolling + annealing + acid pickling + surface polishing + temper rolling. |
| – Good gloss with a coarse texture on the surface. Process: Polishing and temper rolling using 100-120 grit abrasive (JIS R6002) on 2D or 2B material. |
